Canvas Printing Singapore is part of Art Framing Group Pte Ltd. We print, stretch, and frame in the same building, which is the main reason the work comes back the way you expect it to. Nothing gets couriered to a third party halfway through, and if something needs a second look we can walk it back down the corridor.
How we print
Everything runs on Canon 12-colour giclée printers using pigment inks. Pigment matters here. Dye inks look bright on day one and fade in a few years, while pigment ink on a properly coated canvas is rated well past a century. That is the difference between a print you hang and a print you replace.
We are the first Hahnemühle Gold Certified studio in Singapore. In practice that means Hahnemühle audit how we handle colour on their materials, and we hold profiles for every canvas we stock rather than guessing at a generic one.
How we finish
Stretching happens on solid wood bars, in 1" or 1.5" depth, cross-braced once a piece is large enough to need the support. Float framing is built on top of a 1" stretch, with the canvas set inside the moulding and a shadow gap left around the edge. Wire and hooks go on before it leaves, so it is ready for the wall rather than ready for another trip.
There is no glazing over a canvas. That is deliberate, not an omission. A canvas is meant to be seen directly, and putting acrylic over it kills the texture that made you choose canvas in the first place.
How long it takes
Standard turnaround is 3 working days. If you are up against a deadline, ask, because next-day on request is usually possible and we would rather you asked than assumed we could not.
What things cost
The price you get from the calculator on this site is the price you pay. It covers the canvas, the ink, the studio time, the stretching or framing, and the wire and hooks. The only extra is delivery, which starts at S$30 anywhere in Singapore and only applies if you want it rather than collecting from us. Larger pieces can cost more because they need a bigger vehicle, and we confirm that with you rather than surprising you at the end. We can also install the work on your wall for an additional fee, arranged case by case.
Come and see
We keep samples of every canvas and all eight float frame finishes at the studio. If you are deciding between two canvases, it is worth twenty minutes to see them in person with your own image in mind.
